Vivian W. Morgan, 88, of Anderson, passed away May 3, 2012 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born July 26, 1923 in Hoxie, Ark, the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie (Evans) Watson. She had lived in Anderson since 1944 and retired in 1983 from AT&T after 27 years.

Vivian was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Morgan of Anderson; daughter, Iona (husband, John) King of Anderson; granddaughters, Tammy Hutton and Karen Flint, both of Anderson; great grandchildren, Matthew Hutton, Kelly Hutton, Danny Hutton, Kagney Flint, Kelsey Flint, Kirbey Flint and Karley Flint; and great-great grandsons, Rhett Cain and Vaughn Hutton.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Young; and brothers, Oscar Watson and Robert Watson.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Storm officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
