Anna Baldwin, 81, of Anderson, passed away May 2, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born November 19, 1930 in Houstonville, KY, the daughter of Bradford and Iris (Wells) Duncan. She lived most of her life in Anderson and retired in 1981 from Delco Remy after 30 years.
Anna was a member of UAW – CIO Local #662.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Frederick Baldwin of Anderson; four daughters, Sandy (husband, Mike) Frye, Cheryl (husband, Larrett) Shafer and Susan (husband, Hervey) Lawrence, all of Anderson and Cathy (husband, John) Smith of Fredericksburg, VA; seven grandchildren, Greg Frye, Steven Frye, Sarah Nugent, Emily Young, Laura Nugent, Casey Nugent and Mark Mercer Smith; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Hazlett of Stanford, KY, Almeda Hazlett of Cincinnati, OH and Faye Reed of Moreland, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Wilcher; and brother, Harold Glenn Duncan.
Graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at East Maplewood Cemetery with her son-in-law, Rev. Hervey Lawrence officiating.
